Purchase DLL or Source Code

Note! if you are here to find the dates of specific holidays because you searched for "national holidays", "federal holidays" or "bank holidays", you can use this site to view the dates of holidays for a specific year.

The holiday web service is free to use. However, if you would like to avoid making web service calls, we're offering the Holiday Service code, in compiled (DLL) form and in source code (VB.NET source code) for purchase.

The country data is stored in separate their own XML files and are formatted according to a pre-defined schema. By making a purchase below for the DLL or source code edition, you are entitled to select up to 3 countries of your choosing. The additiona country data files may be purchased separately.

DLL Purchase

The DLL may be referenced in your projects and supports the same methods as the web services. The DLL will not have the web service attributes and cannot be directly referenced in an .ASMX file. If you wish to use this DLL as a local web service, you will need to write a wrapper DLL that has the necessary web service code in it.

Buy DLL Edition

The base price of the DLL is $35.00 and this include 3 of the countries below. Each additional country is $20.00 per country (a $5.00 savings per country versus buying them separately later).

Source Code Purchase

The source code is written in VB.NET using Visual Studio.NET 2005 against .NET version 2.0. The source code will have the web service attributes and the compiled DLL can be directly referenced in an .ASMX file.

Buy Source Code Edition

The base price of the Source Code is $75.00 and this include 3 of the countries below. Each additional country is $20.00 per country (a $5.00 savings per country versus buying them separately later).

Country-only Purchases

As indicated above, the hoilday data is stored separately from the source code in XML files. These XML files adhere to a HolidayXML_v2.0 schema.

If you are only interested in the country data or wish to purchase additional countries after your original purchase, each additional country is $25.00 per country to buy it separately.

Note: Payments are handled via PayPal and the product will be delivered via e-mail, once the payment has been completed, to your buyer address. If you wish to have the product sent to a different address, please provide that in the Notes field. Also, please be aware that software deliveries are handled manually by me, Doug. I do my best to deliver these in a timely manner, but there are occassions where there are minor delays.
